Launching September 2023.

Since the protests sparked by the murder of Jina Mahsa Amini, and fueled by the decades-long Jin Jiyan Azadi (Woman, Life, Freedom) movement, citizen journalism and the internet have been the only way to see and learn the truth about life in Iran. The world's media outlets are prevented from reporting human rights abuses happening “on the ground,” in real-time.

This is the modern world’s first revolution led by women and girls, and by Gen Z. Social media technology is core to telling human stories about Iranians, and revealing the dehumanization of Iranians by their government. The Islamic Republic of Iran is an authoritarian regime that is regularly shutting down access to the internet, blocking social media platforms, actively censoring people, and imprisoning journalists — all in an attempt to prevent the world from seeing the truth about what is happening in Iran right now.

All the videos and images we see coming out of Iran have been made possible because Iranians are using VPNs (Virtual Private Networks) to share their reality with the world. Iranians rely on internet-based messaging apps and social media to organize protests and capture and share images of police violence against children and protestors.

Time is running out! The Islamic Republic of Iran is developing plans for an "intra-net" ("halal internet") which will solidify their control and censorship of information available to Iranians, and what Iranians can share with the world.

The time is NOW to KEEP IRAN ONLINE.
